Discovered in 1983 and thought to be over an astonishing 1 million years old Crag Cave is a magical wonderland cave filled with impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Located in Castle Island and just a short half an hour drive away from Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Crag Cave will delight children and adults of all ages.
The visitor centre had undergone extensive renovation and has welcomed the Garden Restaurant where you can sample their mouth-watering menu. There is also a Gift Shop on-site that stocks a range of gifts, crafts, souvenirs, jewellery, clothing books and toys.
Avail of the ‘crazy cave’ activity centre which is suitable for children aged between 0-12 and boasts a baby and toddler area and a sports area.
